The assessment process for both Practitioner, Master
Practitioner and Trainer certification takes place over a period of two days
and consists of a series of activities that evaluate the candidate's skills
from a variety of different perspectives. Each activity supplies a different
framework in which the candidate can demonstrate competency with a range of NLP
tools and distinctions, and at the same time provides a specific focus on
either observational, conceptual, analytical or interactive ability. Assessment
activities may include:
The assessment process is supervised by NLP University
faculty. The assessment activities will be cast into the particular application
area (health, business) that is most relevant to the professional focus of the
individual candidate. Practitioner and Master Practitioner certificates will
specify the application area chosen for assessment.
NLP Practitioner candidates will be assessed on their
ability to use the fundamental NLP skills covered in the Basic NLP Skills Core
Course within the application area health, business) that is most relevant to
their professional focus. The basic NLP skills to be assessed include the ability
to Identify and Utilize:
Representational
Systems and Submodalities/Sensory Based Predicates/Accessing Cues / Meta Model
Patterns
Establish Well-Formed Outcomes / Calibrate and Anchor / Establish and Maintain
Rapport
Achieve and Maintain Personal States of Excellence / Apply the T.O.T.E. Model
NLP Master Practitioner candidates will be assessed on
their ability to use the advanced level NLP skills covered in the Advanced NLP
Skills Core Course within the application area (learning, creativity, health,
leadership) that is most relevant to their professional focus. The advanced
level NLP skills to be assessed include the ability to Identify and Utilize:
Meta
Program Patterns/Sleight of Mouth Patterns/Perceptual Positions/Logical
Levels/Non-Verbal Meta
Messages / Utilize Spatial Sorting, Time Lines and Psychogeography / Apply the
S.C.O.R.E. Model
Candidates in the Advanced Training and consulting will be
assessed on their ability to apply NLP skills to make presentations, design
courses and specific lessons, coach others to develop their missions, and help
people define strategies to reach specific objectives. NLP training and
consulting skills to be assessed include the ability to: *Apply and Manage a
Variety of Meta Progam Patterns, Perceptual Positions, Logical Levels and
Representational Channels. *Recognize and Utilize Meta Messages, Spatial Sorting,
Future Pacing and Psychogeography. *Encourage and Activate Cultural Resources,
Diversity and Unconscious Competence.
