Project-Based Learning is a 'Double Loop' Learning Process
The new knowledge economy is creating many challenges and opportunities for people around the world. We believe that the field of NLP can assist people and companies to create what Silicon Valley has done for the business world in the past several years-establish a new paradigm that is based upon cooperation, belief in abundance and commitment to visions that will accelerate progress and change the world. NLP is a communication science focused on models of excellence. It provides people and companies with strategies, techniques and procedures that enable and empower progress at the deepest levels of change.
It is clear that in the emerging knowledge economy relationships and communication are just as important as monetary investment, and that technology is changing the structure of our relationships and how we communicate. Successful teams and projects are based upon shared leadership, creating synergies and win-win cooperation. These skills are best learned actively by linking them to an ongoing project. This type of project-based learning is known as a 'double loop' learning process. One loop is focused on leading the project; the other is directed toward learning leadership
Millennium Project activities were designed to apply project-based learning methodology in order to provide people with the tools and support to develop the knowledge, behavioral skills and personal qualities necessary to effectively manage change and move from vision into action.
