Arts and Creativity -- Creativity Spas

The goal is to establish creativity spas where individuals and groups can unleash their natural creativity. The purpose is to bring creativity and playfulness to the workplace, to generate creativity that will in turn regenerate itself to other areas. The beneficial effects of this will be that people will be able to be more creative toward their outcomes, and will enjoy a greater sense of health, community, endurance and flexibility. An evidence of these benefits will be that individuals within the organization will enjoy an increased ability to solve problems more quickly. This creates a vital community culture. The benefits can be expected when individuals are experiencing fun and excitement in their work and personal lives. This idea will lead to creativity spas everywhere, in many contexts. I/We want to be the force that through the green grass grows.

The overall time frame for reaching the goal is one year. The chief actors include members of the NLP community and the organization(s) with a desire to participate. The steps to reach the goal involve - (a) pilot study. (b) design the alliance and the program. (c) create the model and market the idea. An effective ongoing feedback will be organizations have a desire to expand and refer other organizations to us. I/We will know that the goal has been reached when a major organization has implemented the program.

The people most effected by this plan are employees of the organization and managers and executives. Their needs are to enjoy their work life and feel that they are vital, creative and unique contributors within the organization and to satisfy shareholders and customers. The beneficial effects of this will be the organization will attract more interesting, creative and innovative people to the company. New product development will offer market leadership and impact the bottom line. The present way of doing things is familiar and comfortable. These positive gains will be preserved by gradually introducing the idea allowing incremental participation. I/We would not want to implement this plan if individuals in the organization spent time in the spa instead of working or if the cost created problems within the organization or employee relations.

What is currently needed or missing from the plan is an evaluation of where the funding will come from. A possible solution would be to seek grants. This can be implemented by hiring a grant writer.
