DREAM
Business/Marketing and Organizational Development.

PURPOSE
The goal is to create a context in which a minimum of 500 NLPer's working within and consulting to business and organizations have committed to one another and to the community to transform themselves into models of excellence at all Logical Levels. The purpose is to raise the standard of personal and business community functioning of NLPers by a quantum level.

BENEFITS
The beneficial effects of this will be that the field of organizational NLP will be understood, respected and accessible. By 2002 the community will consist of a minimum of 500 people who have made this commitment and demonstrated achievement judged by the following criteria. The benefits can be expected within the next 5 years.

EFFECTS
This idea will lead to people in organizations recognizing those situations when their preferred choice for partnering will be with people who embody the excellence of NLP training. I/We want to be a network of like-minded individuals who make a transformative difference.

TIME FRAME & ACTORS
The overall time frame for reaching the goal is 5 years. The chief actors include 500+ committed NLPers.

STEPS
The steps to reach the goal involve - (a) Inviting NLP Business and Organizational. Development people to commit to a five year plan of raising personal and professional excellence by a quantum level. (c) Form an association of NLP org. workers to share market research and id market trends. (20 in 1 year, 200 in 5 years).

FEEDBACK
An effective ongoing feedback will be (1) Subjective: a sense of accomplishment. (2) Objective: external recognition of effectiveness. I/We will know that the goal has been reached when people in organizations will recognize those situations when their preferred choice for partnering will be people who embody the excellence of NLP training.

INFLUENCES
The people most effected by this plan are 500 NLP business trainers and consultants and the business community at large. Their needs are to raise the standards of NLP business training and to become the preferred choice for business training and consulting.

OBJECTIONS
Someone might object to this plan if they didn't understand the positive contributions that NLP could make. The present way of doing things that there are no standards by which NLP business training is judged and they can truly be independent, setting their own standards. These positive gains will be preserved by collaborating and making clear agreements and voluntarily subscribing to the standards of excellence.

MISSING LINKS
What is currently needed or missing from the plan is a way to commit, a schedule and a way to keep in touch, and a way to document our successes that is easily accessible to all. This can be implemented by enrolling a core group of committed NLP business consultants and trainers at this conference, having an organizational meeting by the end of the conference, giving written commitment to each other, devising a commitment form.
